WWE Again Using Alexa Bliss At WrestleMania
We’re less than three weeks away from the Showcase of Immortals, and while the card hasn’t been fully finalized. Most of the matches at WrestleMania 39 are locked or at least being hinted at. The result is a ton of top wrestlers in really exciting positions ahead of the big event and some big names with absolutely nothing to do.

After losing to Bianca Belair at the Royal Rumble
For the past week, rumors have been swirling that Alexa Bliss is allegedly “on hiatus.” Longtime wrestling reporter Dave Meltzer commented in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. And they ran around very quickly, mostly because they seemed to. We haven’t seen Devi since she lost to Bianca Belair at the Royal Rumble. According to Bliss, however, she is not on hiatus. Here he said in a tweet.

Alexa Bliss as Fan
Some on social media are focusing on that part of his comment. Where she says she’s not on hiatus, but I’m more interested in the “they know where to find me” part. To me, this says that WWE is intentionally choosing not to use her right now. And as an Alexa Bliss fan, I’m really concerned about that. Especially as it pertains to WrestleMania and specifically what happened last year.
Returned to the first Elimination Chamber in 2022
Do you remember WrestleMania 38? WWE put together a card that featured sixteen matches and over forty wrestlers and did not include Alexa Bliss. She returned in the first Elimination Chamber in 2022, but for whatever reason, the writers decided she didn’t need ‘Frenzy’. Now it seems that is exactly what is happening. She was in a special match at The Rumble earlier this year, and now, she’s apparently sitting at home waiting for a phone call from Triple H and company.
Alexa Bliss is a prime example
Alexa Bliss is a prime example
In general, I’m pretty happy with the WWE product over the past year. WrestleMania 38 was excellent, and Triple H has made mostly good decisions since taking over for Vince McMahon last year. But that doesn’t mean she’s made the most out of every character, and to me, Alexa Bliss is a prime example. One of those big names is Alexa Bliss, and while I initially assumed it…she’s officially whatever’s going on during Bray Wyatt’s match with Bobby Lashley. Will appear to join that, but I’m not sure after her recent comments.
Bray Wyatt was released after that brutal match at 37
Let’s take a quick look at the past few years. First, he absolutely crushed his work with Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton. I know the storyline was divisive, but a lot of people (including me) loved it and she was great in it. But then it all of a sudden blew up and Bray Wyatt was released after that brutal match at WrestleMania 37. He had a good run for a few months after that, but then we saw a long series of vignettes where his character went for treatment, seemingly to reboot him into something less terrifying.
The Reboot Sorta Elimination Chamber Takes Place In 2022
That reboot sorta happened at Elimination Chamber 2022, and then she just disappeared again for months. Missing WrestleMania 38, she then returned to provide the most support for Bianca Belair before teasing about possibly going dark with the returning Bray Wyatt. But now she’s gone again, and it looks like she may once again miss WrestleMania 39 by creative choice.
