There is news of the death of seven medical students, including the son of a BJP MLA, after the car collided with a bridge in Wardha. However, the police are investigating the incident.

A very painful accident has been reported from the Wardha district of Maharashtra on Tuesday morning. Last night, 7 medical students (MBBS students) died after their car fell into the river from the bridge. According to the information, the medical students were going from Daveli in Maharashtra to the Wardha district of Maharashtra. Most of the students who died are said to be in the age group of 20 to 35 years. The injured were admitted to the Wardha district hospital. At present, the post-mortem of all the dead bodies will be done.
The accident happened at around 11:30 on Monday night.
Wardha SP Prashant Holkar said that the car fell from a bridge near Selsura at around 11.30 pm on Monday night. The students in the car were going to Wardha. The investigation is on about how the accident happened.
BJP MLA’s son was also among those killed.
The deceased students also included Avishkar Rahangdale, son of BJP MLA Vijay Rahangdale from the Tiroda assembly constituency in the Gondia district of Maharashtra. Everyone has died in the incident. The accident happened late at night at a place called Selsura on Yavatmal Wardha Road. Prima facie it appears that the driver had lost control of the car, due to which the car of the students fell in a 40-feet deep gorge in the middle of the night, due to which this major accident happened.
