Tragic death of 17 people in a horrific road accident in West Bengal
Happened on Saturday night in the Nadia district of West Bengal. In the horrific road accident, 17 people died tragically and five others were injured. The incident took place when more than 20 people from Baghdad in North 24 Parganas were on their way towards the Navadwip crematorium carrying the dead bodies. Local people said that the dead body collided with a truck parked on the roadside in Phulbari of Hanskhali police station area. In which many people died and others injured. According to the police, the accident happened due to dense fog and the high speed of the vehicle. The injured admitted to the hospital. A police investigation is going on.

The road accident in Nadia district of West Bengal is very sad. I express my condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in this. May God give them the strength to bear this grief. I wish the injured a speedy recovery.
Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar expressed grief
Expressing grief over the incident, West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar said. I am deeply saddened to learn of the death of 18 people and injuries to 5 others in Nadia district after it collided with a truck parked on the side of the road in Nadia district. My deepest condolences to the family of the deceased.
Accident due to bad road and dense fog
People say that the road was bad and there was fog too. But the driver was driving the matador at high speed. Because of which this accident has happened. Police is investigating the cause of the accident.
