HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana University football and cross country teams begin their respective 2022 seasons. While the SLU volleyball and football teams host their home openers at Southeast Athletics during this week.
The No. 16/17 SLU football team will travel to face state foe Ul Lafayette at 6 pm on Saturday. in Lafayette.
Women’s 4,000 meters race scheduled for 6 pm
The Southeast men’s and women’s cross country teams will begin their season on Friday. The Lions and Lady Lions will travel to New Orleans to compete in the UNO Cross Country Opener. The women’s 4,000 meter race is scheduled for 6 pm. While the men will tackle the 5,000m course at 6:45 pm.
Making a perfect start to the season. The SLU volleyball team (3-0) hosts Jackson State at 6 p.m. Home Opener Tuesday at the University Center. The Lady Lions then travel to Stephenville, Texas to compete in the Dr. Pam Littleton Classic.
