Seth Rogen’s upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie has finally got an official title and a new release date. The film will be titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and will release in the United States on August 4, 2023.

Last year, the film was scheduled to release on 11 August 2023. However, according to the new date, the film will be released a week before. The film also got new artwork which definitely looks good and gives a comic book vibe.
The film is directed by Jeff Rowe and produced by Rogen. Rogen has previously said that the film will focus more on the teen aspect. The film is the seventh theatrical Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film, as well as the second reboot of the series. It is co-produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studios with Paramount as distributor.
After CGI-animated film
There will be more TMNT movies focusing on the villains of the franchise. Several spinoff films were announced in February 2022 during Viacom’s CBS Investor Day, which will premiere next year exclusively on Paramount+. These films will not be related to Rogen’s reboot of the franchise.

The 2007 Kevin Munro-directed TMNT was the first film in the franchise to be made using CGI. Rogan’s film will be the second film to use this method. Another reboot from the studio is in the works, written by Colin Jost and his brother Michael Bay as producers. However, the film is going to be live-action, and not much is known about it yet.

An animated series was created in 1987 that brought the characters into the mainstream, becoming one of the most popular animated series in history.
