Bowling coach Bharat Arun feels that India has a lot of talent in this transition period when players like Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami will be out of international cricket in a year or two. He said India can always boast of good bowlers. But the workload management ensured that they were extremely fresh so that we could also rotate at any time.

Building a Test Team is a Big Challenge

During the press conference, he said, “The biggest challenge after coming back in 2017 was to build a Test team that can win in all conditions. He said, Ravi Shastri and Virat Kohli wanted a team that can win in all conditions, we had a balanced team. We had one of the best spin attacks in the world. So we can supplement the bowling which suits all the conditions.

Working Hard to Win Tests Abroad

Arun said, “This will not only help in understanding the different talent available but it will also keep our bowlers mentally and physically fresh. He joined the team in 2014 and has worked for six years (with a one-year break during Anil Kumble’s tenure) till this T20 World Cup.
