According to the report of Al Jazeera, more than 30 thousand people were rendered homeless in the floods on Sunday. According to the government website, the flood water level in 8 of the country’s 16 states and union territories has reached dangerous levels on Saturday. Due to which the situation may worsen in the coming days.

Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yakub said that more than 65 thousand personnel of police, army, and fire department have been deployed to help the stranded people reach the shelters.

This flood in Malaysia has come due to the Rai storm in the Philippines. Due to this, the work at Port Klang, the largest port of Malaysia, has been badly affected. From here the train services towards the city Klang have been stopped.
