Scorpio Sky Has Been Backstage At AEW For ‘Months

Scorpio has been away from Sky All Elite Wrestling, but he made headlines this week on Revolution after addressing the incident in which MJF threw tequila at a child.

Sky wrote on Twitter

If no one else will say it, I will say, celebrating a kid being insulted on a show by fans/media is the tiniest bit of f**king energy imaginable. Fightful Select has posted a lot of answers regarding Skye’s comments. noted that the former TNT Champion and MJF are in the same locker room. However, Fightful reported that Sky hasn’t appeared on any AEW shows in ‘months’ and has been rarely seen since dropping the TNT Championship in July 2022.

Sky hurt after TNT title loss

After losing the TNT title to Wardlow last year, Sky took time off due to injury but reports in November 2022 said the 39-year-old had been cleared for an in-ring return for ‘some time’. AEW did not have any plans for Sky at the end of 2022 and it is unknown whether anything is put together for the former SCU member.

Sky is likely to leave AEW

Sky was seen backstage at Impact’s No Surrender special in February. His former SCU stablemate Frankie Kazarian recently exited AEW and signed with Impact. Sky looks unlikely to leave AEW, however, as he signed a five-year extension through September 2021.
