Rishabh Pant has played a key role in some of India’s biggest Test matches in his first few years in the team. His maiden Test century came in his third match, on the 2018 tour of England. He scored 114 runs from number 7 against the target of 464. In 2015, a year after making his Ranji Trophy debut at the age of 18, Pant scored a triple century against Maharashtra.

Rishabh Pant scored a century in the 2016 Under-19 World Cup which took India to the semi-finals of that tournament. He made as many scores between 90 and 100 in Tests as he scored centuries. In Cape Town in early 2022, he nearly scored 100 off 139 balls in India’s total, where the next highest score was 29.
