Thanks to Naveen Kumar’s brilliant performance, Dabang Delhi defeated the defending champion Bengal Warriors 52–35 in a one-sided match of the Pro Kabaddi League. Delhi won big by 17 points. The team is on top of the table with 18 points. He has won 3 out of 4 matches so far. At the same time, this is Bengal’s second defeat in 4 matches. He has won 2 matches.
Dabang Delhi got the victory
Played between Gujarat Giants and UP Yoddha. Another match ended in a 32-32 tie. Gujarat held the lead for most of the match and was leading 20-14 at halftime. However, UP Yoddha made a strong comeback in the second half.
Equal to the previous loss
In the match between Delhi and Bengal, Naveen gave his best performance in PKL, collecting 24 points in 25 raids. Due to this, Dabang Delhi avenged the loss against the same team in the final of the last season. The Bengal Warriors had no answer for Naveen and they did not have any problem in breaking the defense of the opposing team.
Thanks to Naveen’s brilliant performance, Delhi’s team took a huge 21-7 lead by getting the opposition ‘all out’ twice in the first 12 minutes itself. Naveen soon made his 25th consecutive Super 10 (10 points) in the league and there was no looking back.
