PM Modi’s high-level meeting started regarding the increasing threat of Corona

Special attention on passengers coming from abroad
The Central Government has given special guidelines regarding passengers coming from abroad to prevent infection with the new variant of Corona. A random sampling of passengers coming from abroad started at airports across the country. While advising the people regarding the transition from the new variant of Omicron, the Central Government has said that there is no need to panic.
People advised to wear masks along with maintaining social distancing in crowded areas. Along with this, instructions given to send samples of corona positive to the INSACOG genome sequencing lab.
The growing threat of corona in China
Narendra Modi’s government is alert in view of the rapidly increasing cases of corona infection in many countries including China.After the emergence of new variants of Coronavirus in the country, the government has started making efforts to prevent its menace in time. Necessary tests are done regarding this. At the same time, the governments of the states are also looking very cautious. It is noteworthy that in October-November, four patients infected with BF.7 and BF.12 variants of Omicron reported in Gujarat and Odisha.
