Williams writes in message

“The last few years at home were very important. We are all in our 30s now. Almost every time people and I are together – and it is a lot – we remind ourselves of the past 2 decades of friendship as ancient as we are,” Williams writes in the message. It may sound silly but in us No one can really believe we’re still here and somehow, people still care. It’s a big deal… that we don’t take lightly,” she continued.

The band’s retreat from the spotlight played a role in his life.

Williams stresses the importance that the band’s retreat from the spotlight has played in their lives. “From the end of 2018, and for the first time in my adult life, I have been able to spend consecutive days, months, years, etc. at home,” she says, adding that she “kept weekly appointments,” “many Cooked a meal” and “seen the family (in person) at any opportunity.” The lessons here are endless and they’re very different from any lessons learned from being on the road Paramore is doing 24/7/365. It was a real break from everything I’d done before. Looking at our calendar for the next few years, I know I wouldn’t have found myself ready to give back to the band and the music and the life I love so much if we hadn’t voluntarily given it away for a season.

Hope about the band’s return

Williams then goes on to say that it seems “the right time to take advantage of every opportunity we’ve been given to take advantage of our platform and it’s all for good reasons”. She goes on to say that what she looks forward to most about the band’s return is “showing themselves and each other that music is still a good place”, and that “a show can still gather”. Not just a mob”.

Williams ends note

“For many reasons I can’t even have words for, I think we’re about to experience our happiest, most satisfying moments as Paramore,” Williams concluded the note. “And when I say, ‘we’, I hope you know by now what I mean.” See full note below: For all of that, on behalf of all of us, I want to first of all say thank you for loving and supporting us as human beings. The music industry is not a man-first industry. It’s not even a music-first industry. Look, we don’t even live in a human-first society,” Williams adds. “So choosing to walk for a spell just out of your conscience was not a wrong idea.”
