Pakistani Players Forget That The Player Is Above Religion Mohammad Kaif Showed The Mirror

Pakistan’s team may have gone to Dubai to play the World Cup of cricket, but the players of the team, including the leader, have kept it as the World Cup of religion. From offering Namaz on the field to telling the victory of the match as the victory of Islam, the game has been converted into a crusade instead of a game. Mohammad Kaif has shown a mirror to these people of Pakistan. In an exclusive conversation with Zee News Editor-in-Chief Sudhir Chaudhary, Kaif told what it means to be a real player.

After the match with India, the face of Pakistan that came in front of the whole world has once again shown that even sports in Pakistan is not seen as a game but through religious glasses. Pakistan turned cricket into a religious war.

Hindu-Muslim in sports too

While the Home Minister of Pakistan called it the victory of Islam, then the former player started Hindu-Muslim in this too. Pakistan’s Home Minister Sheikh Rashid made an absurd statement saying that this is the victory of Islam and Muslims all over the world including India. This statement of Sheikh Rashid became fiercely viral on social media.

Mirror shown to pak players

Now Pakistan and all its players were shown the mirror by former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif. In a special conversation with Zee News, Kaif said that when a player comes to play the game in the field, then religion, color, caste are at the top. Then why is it that only the players of Pakistan seem to bring their religion on the field.

Prayer on the field

It is not that a player from Pakistan offered Namaz for the first time during the match or the last time it happened. Many times in the past, Pakistani players have offered Namaz on the field. Just a day before, during the match training, the players offered Namaz on the field itself.

When India defeated Pakistan team in the 2007 T20 World Cup final, then Pakistani player Shoaib Malik said that he apologizes to all the Muslims of the world, for whom he could not win the World Cup.
