The visiting team will rest today before coming out for a training session tomorrow – Tuesday – ahead of the three-match ODI series. Both the teams will face each other on the 8th, 10th, and 12th of June.

West Indies are led by their newly appointed captain Nicholas Pooran who will take up his duties as captain in his second international series. The two-time 50-over World Cup champions ended their series in the Netherlands after beating the home team 3–0.
Pakistan will start training from today
On the other hand, Pakistan, who won their last ODI series 2-1 at home against mighty Australian players, will start training from today. Under Babar Azam’s captaincy, Pakistan is currently at number 10 with six wins out of 12. At the same time, West Indies are at number four with eight wins from 18 matches.
Pakistan will host international matches in the summer.
These days some work is going on on the pitches of the National Stadium in Karachi and Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. In such a situation, Multan is the only stadium available to host international matches. This will be the first time that Pakistan will be hosting international matches in the summer. PCB plans to start the match from 4 pm onwards. West Indies team will reach Islamabad on 6th June. The team will leave for Multan by charter flight on the same day.
