PAK vs SCO Shoaib Malik hit a Stormy Half Century Against Scotland

Pakistan posted a mammoth score of 189 for four against Scotland in a group two match of the Super 12 stage of the ICC T20 World Cup on Sunday. For that captain, Babar Azam played a restrained inning of 66 runs in 47 balls. So in the end Shoaib Malik hit an unbeaten 54 runs in 18 balls hitting 6 sixes. Pakistan scored 77 runs in the last five overs for the loss of one wicket and added 114 runs in the last eight overs.

Shoaib Malik Batted Well

Beat Scotland by 72 Runs

Batting first against Scotland, Pakistan scored 189 for four. During this, captain Babar Azam played an innings of 66 runs. Apart from them, Mohammad Hafeez was dismissed after scoring 31 runs. But Shoaib Malik played an important role in taking Pakistan to the score of 189 runs. Chasing a target of 190 runs for victory, Scotland’s team could only manage 117 runs in the stipulated 20 overs for the loss of six wickets.

Rizwan was out in the very next over. Fakhar Zaman (8) also did not perform well in this match and he could not stay at the crease for long. He was caught at a cow corner in an attempt to play Greaves’ delivery, leaving the team at 59 for two. Hafeez (four fours and a six in 19 balls) came in and hit some brilliant boundaries.

Shoaib Malik Took an Aggressive Approach

Malik came to the crease after Hafeez was dismissed off the last ball of the 15th over, who took an aggressive approach as soon as he came and hit six sixes while hitting a four. Chris Greaves took two wickets for Scotland. While Safayan Sharif and Hamza Tahir took one wicket each.
