Netflix Cyberpunk Edgerunners Releases Opening Watch

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is coming to Netflix later this fall, and the series has just released its catchy opening theme sequence to hypnotize fans for its big debut! Although the original video game launch of Cyberpunk 2077 received a divisive response among fans, it’s hard to argue with the promise offered by the world within the game to what it actually holds as a setting. It looks like CD Projekt RED picked itself up as they teamed up with studio Trigger (which is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary) for a new anime take on the cyberpunk world coming to Netflix in the next few months.

As part of Studio Trigger’s special 10th anniversary planning for Anime Expo this year, the studio debuted the first episode of the series to fans in attendance. Not only did the debut receive a positive response, but now fans everywhere can watch a bit of it for themselves as Netflix has officially released the opening sequence for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Saya Elder Studio Produces Animation for the New Series with Trigger

CD Projekt Red, the parent company behind the Cyberpunk 2077 video game, produced the series with Rufas Jaki (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher: Ronin) serving as showrunner and executive producer. Is. Satoru Homma, Bartosz Sztybor and Saya Elder serve as producers producing animation for the new series with Studio Trigger.
