Pune Police has recovered cash worth Rs. Tukaram Supe arrested for rigging the Education Eligibility Test (TET) in Maharashtra. Tukaram Supe had hidden this money in the house of his relatives and friends out of fear of the police.

In this case, including Tukaram Supe, Sukhdev Dere, who was the commissioner of Maharashtra Education Council in 2017, has also been arrested.

MHADA paper leak case

Pune Police, which is inquiring into the Health Department exam question paper leak case in Maharashtra, came to know about the leak of MHADA paper. Tukaram Supe arrested by the Pune Police after the rigging of the Education Eligibility Test (TET) came to the fore while inquiring into the paper leak of MHADA.

Tukaram Supe’s house raided

Around Rs 3 crore 88 lakh in cash seized during the raids conducted at the house of State Education Council Commissioner Tukaram Supe. The investigation is still ongoing. According to the information, the police had received information about giving Rs 4 crore 20 lakh to Tukaram Supe, Commissioner of State Education Council and Abhishek Savarikar, Technical Advisor of Education Department, to increase the number of 800 candidates in the TET exam.
