Mohammed Shami is an Indian international cricketer who plays for Bengal in domestic cricket. He bowls right-arm fast and he bowls at a speed of about 145 km. Mohammed Shami is considered an expert in the reverse swing. Mohammad Shami made his ODI debut in January 2013 against Pakistan and scored four overs in the same match. Mohammed Shami made his Test debut in November 2013 against West Indies and took 5 wickets.
On 5 March 2014, in an Asia Cup match against Afghanistan, Shami became the third fastest Indian player to take 50 wickets in 50 ODIs.
Shami made the world record for completing the fastest 30 wickets in the 2019 World Cup.

The last match of the series being played between India and Sri Lanka will be played in Trivandrum on January 15. Mohammed Shami can be rested in the third ODI. Since he played both matches earlier, Arshdeep Singh can be given a chance in his place. Anyway, Mohammed Shami’s performance was nothing special in both matches.
