LLC 2022 Ravi Shastri Will Join Legends League Cricket Will Now Handle This Post

Ravi Shastri has resigned from the post of head coach of Team India. This was already clear before the T20 World Cup-2021. That in a way, Virat Kohli will leave the captaincy of this format. While on the other hand, this will be Ravi Shastri’s last tournament with the Indian team. After leaving the post of coach, now Ravi Shastri has been given a new responsibility.

Ravi Shastri expressed happiness

After being appointed as the Commissioner of Legends League Cricket, Ravi Shastri said that it feels great to be associated with cricket. Especially with the legends of the game, who have been the champions of cricket in their time. Ravi Shastri has recently completed his tenure as the head coach of the national cricket team. He further added that it is going to be some fun with serious cricket. These giants have nothing new to prove. But their reputation will be at stake, it will be interesting to see how they do justice to it.

Cricketers of these countries will participate

Legends League cricket will feature former cricketers from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia, and England who have retired from cricket. While the cricketers from other countries will divide into three divisions which will represent teams from India, Asia, and the rest of the world. Raman Raheja, Co-Founder, and CEO of the league said, Shastri has been a true legend of Indian and world cricket who have brought India’s laurels over the years.

Shastri said Legends League cricket is thrilled

There is no mention of his role as commissioner. The 59-year-old former player said, “I am extremely thrill to be a part of Legends League Cricket. This is a unique initiative and we see a very bright future for it.”

Held in a Gulf country in January next year

The first session of the LLC is schedule to hold in a Gulf country in January next year. The league will have former cricketers from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia, England. In which he will represent teams from India, Asia, and the rest of the world.
