He has gone through this phase before and at one point he was so disappointed. that he had made up his mind to commit suicide. He himself disclosed this in an interview.

The reason behind the suicide of Kuldeep Yadav

He wanted to commit suicide when he was 13 years old. Because despite a lot of hard work, he could not get selected in the UP Under 15 team. Due to this he very disappointed and he had also decided to leave the game. But within a few years, his luck changed and his hard work also paid off.

Luck changed after 2014

Along with domestic cricket, he shone on behalf of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL, and with this, the doors of Team India also opened for him. Kuldeep took a hat-trick in the ICC Under 19 World Cup in 2014. Kuldeep Yadav is the second Indian after Bhuvneshwar Kumar to join the 5-wicket haul club across all formats.

Kuldeep made his international debut in 2017

On 18 December 2019, against the West Indies, he became the first Indian bowler to take a hat-trick in international cricket. Kuldeep made his international debut in 2017. He took 26 wickets in 7 test matches, 107 wickets in 65 ODIs, and 41 wickets in 23 T20 matches. He played his last match in all three formats this year. In ODIs and T20s, he has not played any international match since July. Whereas the last match in the Test was play against England in February this year.
