“And then it got dented and someone turned on the shower, so it leaked and my ceiling collapsed. It looked like a building site, hence the name Maki Mansion. “I got to a point where I could move back home, but to be in it, I had to change everything,” she says. When people see this they will think, ‘Wow! Is this what’s going on in your mind? I wanted to bring love back home and that is what I have done. Past is past and the house has now got a different feel to it. No bad experiences here anymore. It really feels like home.

It’s all my thoughts and my taste, ”she says. “I have white carpet everywhere. Everyone said, ‘Why do you have a white carpet when you have kids and dogs?’ But I want to keep this house nice and pristine. I think you can see how my mind is really set with some of the rooms.
