Pat Cummins Ruled out Kolkata Knight Riders IPL 2022: There is a big setback for Kolkata Knight Riders. Team veteran Pat Cummins has been out of the season due to injury. Cummins will leave the tournament and return home due to a hip injury. He has done well this season. Cummins has taken 7 wickets in 5 matches played so far. Cummins suffering from a minor hip injury

Cricket.com.au has confirmed Cummins’ exit from IPL 2022. However, no official statement has come from KKR or IPL regarding this yet. Cummins is going through a minor hip injury. Because of this, he will leave the tournament and return to Sydney. His team KKR could not do anything special this season. The team has played 12 matches so far and has won 5 matches during this period. While losing in 7 matches.

Kolkata bought Cummins for Rs 7.25 crore for this season. He has played 5 matches in this season and scored 63 runs. Along with this, 7 wickets have also been taken. If we look at the overall performance of Cummins, then he has been effective. Cummins has taken 45 wickets in 42 matches. Along with this, he has also scored 379 runs. Cummins has scored 3 half-centuries in this tournament. He has hit 26 sixes and 24 fours.

Australian Test captain Cummins out of IPL

Australian Test captain Cummins is returning to Sydney to regain full fitness ahead of the national team’s tour of Sri Lanka next month. Cummins was bought by KKR for Rs 7.25 crore. The report said that it is likely to take a fortnight for Cummins to become fully fit. Apart from leading the Test team, Cummins is also an important member of the ODI and T20 teams.

KKR has only 10 points in 12 matches

KKR’s team management has not yet confirmed that Cummins will not be able to play in the further matches. Cummins has played only five matches in the IPL this season in which he scored 63 runs apart from taking seven wickets. This also includes an unbeaten 56 off 14 balls against Mumbai Indians. KKR has only 10 points from 12 matches and is on the verge of being dropped. His next match will be against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Saturday.
