India Coast Guard official said that there were 9 crew members on the Pakistani boat ‘Al Haj’. The boat entered Indian waters last night. After receiving intelligence, the team of Gujarat ATS and the India Coast Guard reached the spot. Seeing them, the crew members aboard the Pakistani boat started trying to escape by throwing heroin packets into the water, but they could not succeed.
Heroin packets recovered

He further said that heroin packets have been recovered. The Pakistani boat was capable of moving at high speed, but when Pakistani crew members tried to escape, firing was done by the India Coast Guard to stop them and they were captured.
Injury to a crew member
The official said that a crew member aboard the Pakistani boat suffered injuries while the other two suffered minor injuries. The Pakistani boat being taken for further investigation is expected to reach Jakhau Port by 3 pm today.
