We caught up with LG Thursday in LA and got his thoughts on the whole “black actor” discussion… Idris announced that he no longer wants to be described as such because he feels it puts him in a box. Lance tells us, he totally gets Idris’s point, adding that his personal stance is pretty much the same — “I’m an actor first, who happens to be black.” Basically, he’s not even parading the word.
