According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), heavy rain may occur in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Puducherry today i.e. on Thursday. The Meteorological Department said, “Heavy to very heavy rains may occur over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and Coastal Andhra Pradesh on 17th and 19th. On 18th November, Rayalaseema, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and adjoining North Tamil Nadu Coast with very heavy to very heavy rainfall. There may be heavy to very heavy rain with this.”

Light to moderate rain with isolated heavy falls very likely at most places over Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, and Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 4 days. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in Kerala and Mahe during the next 3 days and Coastal Karnataka during the next 2 days.
