‘I am Jaipur. Today I have turned 294 years old. I made as a beautiful city with a Bahrain plan. Even today I included in the beautiful cities of the world. I settled by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, hence the name Jaipur given. I established in 1727 on 18th November. With a glorious history for almost three centuries, I have handled a big legacy. I am Jaipur Even today, I keep my special place in the world. My foundation as a city laid by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh. Art and culture lover Maharaja Jai ​​Singh first laid my foundation on Gangapol.

Known as Jaipur (Pink City)

Initially, I settled for a population of 2 lakhs. And now I have grown from a normal city to a metro city with a population of 70 lakhs. Growing up for almost three centuries, today I Jaipur include in the selected sub-metro city of the country. The whole world also knows me by the name of Pink City. Jaipur, world-famous for its unique architecture

Jaipur has taken a modern form in about 294 years. Jaipur, which world-famous for its unique architecture, also known as ‘Zapper’. The foundation day of Jaipur celebrates every year on 18 November. In 1875, Sawai Ram Singh got the city painted pink. Earlier the city was white in color. In the year 1876, before the Prince of Wales (Edward VII) came to Jaipur, the color of the city was made pink.
In 1942, Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II and the then Prime Minister Sir Mirza Ismail modernized Jaipur.
