The ‘Green Green Grass’ singer forced to cancel her performance at the Tinderbox festival in Denmark on Friday (24.06.22) after suffering from laryngitis. 29-year-old pop star admits
“I’ve been diagnosed with severe laryngitis and under doctor’s orders I’ve advised going on complete vocal rest for 48 hours.” The 29-year-old pop star admitted that she “hated” the cancellation of concerts but they had no other option.
Surprise Performer on Peel Stage
Shotguns’ hitmaker is a surprise performer on the John Peel stage on Sunday (26.06.22) at 2 p.m. And although 48 hours over then, it remains uncertain whether he will be fit to perform at Worth Farm.
In April, George said he was “desperate” to miss the concert in Somerset.
He added: “The thing about the Glastonbury line-up is that unless I’m actually there, I don’t care about it.” And when I’m there, I’m like, ‘Just me Stick it in any tent, I’ll come and play in someone’s tent. I just want to be there.
“I’m really set to miss Glastonbury this year.
“That’s another thing I do, I kid myself like, ‘Oh, I’m used to festivals now because I make them work, I don’t have to go for myself’.
The ‘Budapest’ hitmaker – who performed in front of Buckingham Palace for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee earlier this month – is just weeks away from her huge headline gig on July 17 at Finsbury Park in London.
