The former Cloud9 coach asked if European teams were “scrambling endlessly against each other in a triangle” like NA teams. Before that both Upset and LS laughed awkwardly for a moment. Upset replied that other EU teams were probably playing against each other. But Fnatic is not due to the plethora of different possible reasons.

It’s a bit hard even with the patch

“I don’t know, to be honest, I think other teams are shaking hands with each other,” Upset told LS. “I don’t know, I’m not sure what we’re doing. I think it was a long split. We’re taking a break. I guess. Not sure. I guess other things are different.” Better for people maybe. But even with the patch it was a bit tough.

Simultaneous practice since the end of the playoffs

LS couldn’t help laughing at the absurdity of the situation. With the amount of time left before Worlds starts, Fnatic will have an incredibly limited time to find scrum partners. Before they had to suit up and fight for their place in the main event through the play-in stage. Their position is unlike other teams from other regions. who have been practicing together since the end of the playoffs.

Evil Geniuses’ chief of coaching staff Peter Dunn confirms

For example, Evil Geniuses’ chief of coaching staff Peter Dunn confirmed that the team has been shouting throughout the week saying “this is one of the most important times of the year” and that “all the NA teams have started. This is a worrying sign for European fans who are looking for all their representatives to qualify for the group stage.

The play-in phase of Worlds 2022 will begin on Thursday, 29 September. Fnatic will take on the third seed Evil Geniuses of the LCS in the second match of the day.
