Earlier on October 1, the price of LPG cylinder was big

Earlier on October 1, the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders were increased. In Delhi, the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder was increased from Rs 1693 to Rs 1734. It was Rs 1805.50 in Kolkata, Rs 1685.00 in Mumbai, and Rs 1867.50 in Chennai. On October 6, state-owned oil companies had increased the rates of non-subsidized LPG gas cylinders.

Relief to domestic LPG cylinder consumers

If we talk about domestic LPG cylinders, then no change has been made in it today. In Delhi, a 14.2 kg non-subsidized gas cylinder is available for only Rs 899.50. Let us tell you that on October 6, its price was increased. At the same time, on October 1, the prices of only 19 kg commercial cylinders were increased. 926 in Kolkata and 14.2 kg LPG cylinder in Chennai is still available for Rs 915.50. In view of the rising crude oil prices, it was feared that this time the price of LPG cylinder will go beyond Rs 1000.

In January 2014, a cylinder was priced at Rs 1241.

If we talk about both the tenure of the Modi government. So the non-subsidized LPG cylinder in Delhi is cheaper by Rs 341.50 as compared to January 2014. Although there has been an increase of about Rs 205 so far this year. On the other hand, a cylinder without subsidy is cheaper by Rs 29 in Delhi compared to May 1, 2014, just before the formation of the Modi government. Whereas on 1 May 2014 it was Rs 928.5.
