CDS Bipin Rawat On His Last Journey Will Be Saluted With 17 Guns

A final farewell is being given today to all the 13 people who lost their lives in the Tamil Nadu helicopter crash, including CDS Bipin Rawat. The body of General Bipin Rawat is being taken from his residence to Berar Square. His last rites will be performed here at around 5 pm. He will be given a 17-gun salute. During this 800 soldiers will be present here.

The last journey of General Bipin Rawat was taken out before reaching Berar Square. Thousands of people were present on the last journey. Along with this, 800 soldiers also participated in the last journey. People also raised slogans in his last journey. Raising slogans, people said – As long as the sun remains the moon, Bipin Jim’s name will remain. CDS Bipin Rawat will be given a 17-gun salute. Bipin Rawat’s funeral will be held at 5 pm.

All the leaders including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi paid tribute to him.

Earlier, the body of General Bipin Rawat was brought to his residence from Base Hospital on Friday. All the leaders including CJI NV Ramanna, Chief of the three services, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi paid tribute to him. Kritika and Tarini, daughters of CDS Bipin Rawat and Madhulika Rawat, paid tribute to their parents.

President Kovind leaves for Delhi Cantt to pay tribute
