talked about making uptempo trance tracks

In an interview with Zane Lowe that will air on Apple Music 1 later today, March 10, Harris talks about creating classic-sounding, uptempo trance tracks in a way he’s never done before. “When I started making music, I was 14. It was 1998 and ’98, ’99, 2000, and 2001 were kind of the early trance and house era for me. So what I usually did was just take some of that.” Had to take some excerpts and put it in a new context. Harris released his most recent album, Funk Wave Bounce Vol. 2, last year, marking his first LP in five years, following 2017’s Funk Wave Bounce Vol. 1. As for Goulding, she’s gearing up for the release of her new album, Higher Than Heaven, which is expected to arrive on April 7 after a few delays. She’s shared a few songs from the album so far, including “Like a Saviour,” “Easy Lover” featuring Big Sean, and “Let It Die.”
