A 30-year-old man allegedly killed his sister-in-law in Jabalpur city of Madhya Pradesh. It is alleged that the deceased refused to name the person. With whom she was talking on the phone. Angered by this, the accused killed the woman by cutting her with a sickle.
The killer lives with brother-in-law
Raja Chakravarti himself is unmarried. He lives with his brother and sister-in-law, a resident of Bhantlaiya. His brother Pradeep works as putty in the house. Pradeep and Roshni married 16 years ago. He also has two children. Sister-in-law used to talk to someone on the phone every day. The king forbade the sister-in-law from talking on the phone. He also threatened to tell his brother. On Thursday evening sister-in-law was talking to someone on the phone. When he protested, the sister-in-law said that what will your brother do? Enraged at this, the king stabbed her sister-in-law with a laughing stock and put her to death.
Hanumantal police station inspector Umesh Golani told
The matter came to light when Raja Chakravarti, a resident of Bhantalia locality, reached the police station with a sickle. He said Chakraborty allegedly slit the throat of his brother’s wife Roshni (32). This incident happened when Roshni was talking to someone.
According to the police,
When she (Roshni) refused to name the person she was talking to on her mobile phone, Raja killed Roshni. When the police reached the house of the accused, they found the woman lying in a pool of blood and with injury marks on her neck, the officer said.
The victim’s husband, children, and other family members were not present in the house at the time of the incident. At present the matter is investigated. The accused is also being interrogated.
