Asian Rowing Championship Arvind Singh Won the Gold on The Last Day

Arvind Singh wins the gold medal in Asian Rowing Championship. India’s experience rowing player Arvind Singh won the gold medal on the final day of the Asian Rowing Championships. He won a gold medal in the lightweight men’s singles sculls event on Sunday while three other Indian players went on to win a silver medal.

Manjeet Kumar and Sukhmeet Singh miss out on a gold medal

In men’s lightweight double sculls, Ashish Phogat and Sukhjinder Singh clocked 7: 12.568 seconds. Whereas in men’s quadruple sculls, the team of Bittu Singh, Jakar Khan, Manjeet Kumar, and Sukhmeet Singh clocked 6:33,661 seconds and missed out on the gold medal by 0.523 seconds in the photo finish.

Arvind Singh defeated Chinese scholars

Arvind Singh finished 11th in the men’s lightweight double sculls along with Arjun Lal Jat at the Tokyo Olympics. It was a great race for Arvind. Because they defeated Uzbek and Chinese scullers for the gold medal. During the Tokyo Olympics, Arvind also participated in the rowing lightweight doubles men’s sculls along with his partner Arjun Lal. Although Arvind could not win the medal there. But he had shown his talent brilliantly.

In the men’s coxless force final, India’s Jasvir Singh, Puneet Kumar, Gurmeet Singh, and Charanjit Singh won the silver medal (taking a time of 6:51.661). Indian women’s rowers, who made the finals of the quadruple sculls and lightweight double sculls, finished fifth in their respective races.
