Ashton Charles Agar is an Australian cricketer. If played in all formats for the Australian cricket team. He plays domestic cricket for Western Australia. Agar is primarily known for his bowling and bowls slow left-arm orthodox with his left arm.

Ashton Agar made his debut representing Victoria at both the under-17 and under-19 levels. Making his debut at the age of 17, Agar made his debut for Australia in one under-19 Test and ten under-19 One Day Internationals (ODIs).

In the 2012 Under-19 World Cup, he was included in the squad as Australia’s second spinner after Ashton Turner but did not play a single match. Agar made his debut for the Perth Scorchers in the 2013 Champions League T20 in India.

He mainly played as an opening batsman in the tournament. He made his One Day International debut on 8 September 2015 against England

Ashton made his T20 International debut for Australia against South Africa on 6 March 2016. In April 2020, Cricket Australia awarded Agar a central contract ahead of the 2020–21 season. On 3 March 2021, Agar achieved the best bowling figures during the series against New Zealand.
