600th Kisan Rail Service has started between Maharashtra and Bihar

Maharashtra known for the cultivation of onions, sugarcane, grapes and oranges. So there is cultivation of maize, paddy and mustard in Bihar. Both the states will exchange these agricultural products. With this, where farmers will get a good price, the availability of these products in the local market will also remain the same.

 

 

Kisan Rail Service will Run Between Bihar-Bengal and Maharashtra

The farmers of our country grow crops, food items, vegetables and fruits with a lot of hard work and sweat. But then they get disappointed. When they do not get the right price for their crops and they have to sell their produce at low prices to local moneylenders or brokers near their village. In view of this, the Modi government at the Center has started Kisan Rail Service across the country. The purpose of this service is to take the produce of the farmers to the market. So that the crops of the farmers  not spoiled and their goods can easily reach the big cities without any problem.

Onions, Oranges, Grapes will be sent from Maharashtra and maize, paddy will be sent from Bihar.

Maharashtra is known for the cultivation of onions, sugarcane, grapes and oranges. So there is cultivation of maize, paddy and mustard in Bihar. Both the states will exchange these agricultural products. With this, where farmers will get a good price, the availability of these products in the local market will also remain the same. In view of this, the Ministry of Railways has given green signal to the 600th rail service of the country. This train  run from Sangola in Maharashtra state to Muzaffarpur in Bihar.

50% Subsidy in Transportation of Fruits and Vegetables

In Kisan Rail Yatra, 50 percent subsidy is given the government for the transportation of fruits and vegetables. Kisan Rail service started on 7 August 2020. Under the scheme, rail transport used to transport the farmers’ produce to the national market. Due to this, the farmers got the advantage that many times the fruits and vegetables of the farmers do not reach the market on time. It gets damaged during transportation. She started reaching the market on time.

Farmers Getting Benefits on a large scale

Ministry says that Efforts  made to get fair price for the produce of the farmers through Kisan Rail and to provide big markets. Kisan Rail is reaching big cities by taking the produce of farmers from far-flung areas.

Subsidy Available onThese products

Fruits: Mango, Banana, Guava, Kiwi, Lychee, Papaya, Mausami, Orange, Tangerine, Lemon, Pineapple, Pomegranate, Jackfruit, Amla and Pear at the time of transportation of other fruits get discount.

Vegetables:

There is a discount in the fare for transportation of other vegetables including bitter gourd, brinjal, capsicum, carrot, cauliflower, French beans, green chilli, okra, cucumber, peas, garlic, onion, potato and tomato.
